Our Mission
The mission of the Tyler Parks & Recreation Department is to provide Superior Parks, Outdoor Spaces, Cemeteries, Recreational Facilities, Recreational Activities, and Tourism Opportunities to fill the leisure time and special needs of all segments of the population and to serve this community and its visitors in an overall professional manner. |

Harvey Convention Center
The City of Tyler's Harvey Convention Center is available for conferences, receptions, exhibits, meetings, parties, and other events. Harvey Convention Center currently offers three meeting rooms. The largest rooms, Hall-1 (17,632 sq. ft.) and Hall-2 (8,395 sq. ft.) are popular for board meetings, planning retreats, parties, civic and church group meetings and art exhibitions. A third meeting room is available to accommodate smaller groups.

Municipal Rose Garden
The Rose Garden is open from dawn until dark, seven days a week. Admission is free. The Rose Garden and Rose Garden Center can also be rented for special events such as weddings, parties, reunions, etc. This is the perfect facility to accommodate your every need.
