Mission:

To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of doing business in the City Clerk's Office by applying creativity and innovation to the organizational structure and the delivery of public service.
 
 

What We Do:

 Some of the various responsibilities of the City Clerk's Office include:
  • Serving as Clerk to the Mayor and Council.
  • Prepare minutes of the City Council meetings.
  • Process Ordinances and Resolutions.
  • Manage/Process Legal Notices and Publications for Publishing.
  • Manage/Process appointments to City Boards and Commissions.
  • Administration of the City's record management and retention program.
  • Conduct City Elections by City Charter and Texas Election Law provisions.
  • Assist with Public Information Requests.
