The City of Tyler is dedicated to maintaining transparency in local government.

The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts has recognized the City of Tyler with a “Platinum Leadership Circle Award” for transparency in local government. The City scored 22 of 23 possible points on the ratings criteria to earn this award.

The City Clerk’s Office provides a records management, retention, disposition and micro-graphics program and preserves historical documents. Contact the City Clerk, for more information about viewing or obtaining copies of City documents or submit a Public Information Request.
