Sign Technicians 

The Traffic Sign Division has a staff of three that is responsible for manufacturing, repairing and maintaining nearly 90,000 signs within the City. Sign technicians are examined and certified by the International Municipal Signal Association.

Did You Know..

The Sign Department also provides customized signs for other departments within the city, such as Transit, Keep Tyler Beautiful, Code Enforcement, Parks, Police, Fire and many, many more!

They also provide barricades for events like the Rose Parade and East Texas State Fair each year.

AND don't forget they put out signs to mark the famous Azalea Trails!
