The Tyler Police Public Safety Cadet’s goal is reaching the young adults and future leaders of our community and introducing them to the field of Law Enforcement.

The Tyler Public Safety Cadet Post #310 has participated in numerous state competitions, 2 national competitions, academies, fairs, public service events, and other events.

We have toured Washington D.C. and the Grand Canyon. New friends have been made internationally.

The Tyler Police Public Safety Cadets is looking for young adults between the ages of 14 and 20, and at least a Freshman in high school, to explore opportunities in Law Enforcement and to bring responsibility to yourself and your community. Though not sworn peace officers, this is an excellent way to learn many concepts of what police officers do.
