The City of Tyler Fire Department invites you to the Station 4 Open House on Feb. 3 from 3:30 to 6 p.m. There will be a ceremony and reception followed by station tours.
In November 2018, the City broke ground on two new stations to replace Stations 1 and 4. Station 4 is built on 1.4 acres and is located at 7445 Cherryhill Dr. just south of Cumberland Parkway, replaces current Station 4 which is located on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. The architect for both stations is Fitzpatrick and the general contractor for this project is Garrett and Associates. Station 4 is approximately 11,000 square feet. It has three bays and will house Fire Engine 4, Brush Truck 4, and a reserve training engine. The station will be used as the recruit training station for the future Tyler Fire Department training academy.
