2022 Fire Civil Service Test Scores
Applicants are listed in order of their final score. Veterans who submitted proper proof of an honorable discharge by the application deadline and passed the written exam have 5 points added to their written exam score. Whenever two (2) or more candidates for ranking on a Fire entry-level entrance position attain the same grade, the tie shall be broken in the order listed below prior to the posting of the Eligibility List related to the Fire entry-level position: (a) Highest Raw Test Score. If a tie exists, the person shall be ranked in the order according to which person had the highest Fire entry-level examination raw score prior to the addition of Veteran’s points. (b) Random Drawing. On the day of the Fire entry-level entrance examination, each applicant for the examination shall draw a random number after providing positive identification. In the event that a tie still exists after applying the tiebreaker in subsection (a) above, the individual who drew the lowest number shall be placed on the Eligibility List related to the Fire entry-level examination above any other person with the same numerical score on said examination. This eligibility list will remain in effect for one year from the date of the test. It is set to expire on March 9, 2023, at 11:59:59 p.m., unless exhausted before that date. Persons may be removed from this list if they fail the background investigation, oral interview, work fitness examination, or any other part of the selection process. If an applicant's name is removed from the list, the applicant will be notified in writing.
