1. Call meeting to order.
2. Conduct a roll call and establish a quorum.
3. Consider approval of Minutes from the Civil Service Commission meeting held on June 8, 2020.
4. Review and consider appeal questions number 25, 31, 34, 41, 63, 67, 72, 81 and 85 from the Fire Promotional Examination for Captain given on June 11, 2020.
5. Request that the Civil Service Commission consider amending Local Rule 023 of the Tyler Firefighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission Regulations relating to Eligibility Requirements for Firefighters, and amending Local Rule 021 of the Tyler Firefighters’ and Police Officers’ Civil Service Commission relating to Firefighters’ and Police Officers’ Classification.
6. Request that the Civil Service Commission consider the appointment of a three-member board composed of a physician, a psychiatrist, and a psychologist, or any combination, as appropriate, to examine a public employee, the reports related thereto, and for the board to make a determination regarding said employee’s fitness for duty, pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Section 143.081(d).

As allowed by the Texas Open Meetings Law, Texas Government Code Chapter 551, the Commission may consider the following:

            -under section 551.074 “Personnel Matters” deliberation regarding the evaluation of the appellants’ requests regarding the promotion exam questions.

            -under section 551.074 “Personnel Matters” deliberation regarding the evaluation of a public employee.
