Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • 1st & 3rd floor public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

Tyler Municipal Court's National Night Out Block Party returns Oct. 1

  • Date: 10/01/2024 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM  

On Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., join the City of Tyler Municipal Court, Police Department and Fire Department for the National Night Out Block Party. The Party will take place in the parking lot of the Municipal Court, located at 813 N. Broadway Ave.

Many organizations have teamed up with the Court to offer food, fun and prizes. There will be face painting, games, music and so much more.

This event is meant to strengthen the relationship between the community and law enforcement officers. It is free to everyone and will be a great way to build new friendships.
