Home MenuMake a Donation
There are many ways you can give to the Tyler Public Library.
Donations of Money
The library will gratefully accept donations of any amount. Acknowledgments will be sent to all donors. General purpose donations will be deposited to a special gift fund. This fund will not be used for general operating expenditures, but only for special purchases or projects. Donations may also be made for collection materials. Purchases from this fund will be authorized by the Collection Development Committee. Donations of over $200 may be designated for specific subject areas of the collection. Those under $200 will be placed in the fund and combined with other donations for purchase of materials.
Donations of Books and Materials
Our donations area is full! We are currently not accepting book donations until after the new year in 2024. An announcement will be made at that time to update that book donations are accepted once again.
Book Plates Remembrance Fund
The Book Plates Remembrance Fund provides an opportunity to celebrate (a person's life and achievements), honor (people who have made contributions to you, your organization, the community) and remember people who've made a difference in your life. Donations made in honor or memory of special people and loved ones are used to purchase books and other materials that the library might not otherwise be able to buy. A special bookplate is placed in these items, and acknowledgment will be made to the person commemorated or his or her family.
Please make checks payable to City of Tyler and indicate that your check is for a donation. Please mail to:
