The library offers free review of completed resumes and cover letters to assist job-seeking patrons. This includes proofreading for grammatical errors and providing constructive feedback on format and content.

Library staff work diligently to keep up to date with the latest resume trends but are not certified professionals in the resume-writing field. While we hope our changes improve your chances of securing a job, it is not a guarantee. The Tyler Public Library and its staff cannot be held liable for any outcome resulting from using a resume that has been revised using Resume Review.

Library staff cannot review resumes for those applying for jobs at the library.

Your review request will be replied to within three business days. Review of your resume and/cover letter will take one to two weeks so that staff may provide you the best feedback possible.
