Citizenship Shelf

We've relocated and updated some of our information on obtaining citizenship within the United States. We have a shelf on the first floor across from the information desk containing materials about citizenship. This includes kits with flash cards to help with the test. Previously, books about citizenship were located on the second floor with the non-fiction and not grouped together.

Citizenship Resources

Besides the shelf with materials that can be checked out, patrons can access a shelf with free to take information. It sits in the front lobby with pamphlets about the naturalization process, voting information. Access this information by going to the right from the front doors. It's located in the lobby across from the bathrooms.

Citizenship Free Pamphlets

This shelf with the free resources and the kits were made possible by Smith County Area Libraries Together (SALT) in May 2019 with a $500 grant.

We're trying to make sure that we have information on obtaining citizenship for our citizens within the city and county.
