Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • 1st & 3rd floor public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

Spooky Science

For children ages 5-12. Auditorium (First Floor).

For kids ages 5-12: Spooky Science takes over both the Library’s monthly Homeschool Libratory program and a special evening program this October. Kids can join to make oobleck, learn chemistry, and watch cool, fiery experiments.
