Paper House Contest (All Month Long)

For children of all ages. Rover Cart (First Floor).

It’s time for the Library’s fourth annual Paper House Contest for all age kids from Oct. 1-31! Thank you to PopShelf for providing rewards for winners and to the Friends of the Tyler Public Library for providing craft materials for children to make their creations!

Rules
Children may enter one or both of the categories: Category 1—Everyday Houses and Buildings and Category 2—Haunted Houses and Fall Houses. Children may use supplies provided at the library’s craft cart or may use supplies from home. Items such as paper, straws, buttons, plastic bottles, milk cartons, etc. may be used to create a paper house. For display purposes, the size of paper houses is limited to no bigger than the size of a gallon milk jug. Once done, children can bring their paper house to the library by October 31 to enter the contest. A library card is not required to participate.

Rewards
One winner from each category will be announced Nov. 1. Each winner will receive a $20 gift card and reward box from Popshelf!
