Support Library Programs

The Friends of the Tyler Public Library is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Tyler Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible. Learn more about the Friends and how you can support Library programs!

The Friends have been able to provide a variety of enhancements to the library including:

  • Enhanced children's story time activities & supplies
  • Special speakers & performers
  • 3D printer & supplies
  • Reading programs & prizes
  • 1st & 3rd floor public copiers - includes free scan to USB service
  • Seed library upkeep
  • Programming supplies
  • And so much more!

Library Calendar

Air Dry Clay Crafting

For Grades 3 and up. Makerspace (Third Floor).

Children Grades 3 and up can join Library Staff to learn how to make their own air-dry clay and make an ornament or sculpture to take home. Space is limited to 15 children. When registering, please select 1 under the Quantity option to register your child. Click here to register.
